| Rodrigo Cruz was born in Mexico City in 1974. He is a freelance photographer who collaborates with NGOs from Mexico and Canada. He was selected to participate in Descubrimientos PhotoEspaña in 2010 in Guatemala City. His work of human rights issues has won several prizes in Mexico and he won a 3rd place in 2010 POYi Latino America in Daily Life Multimedia category. He was an instructor at the Foundry Photojournalism Workshop in Argentina 2011. He has photographed for The New York Times, GEO, National Geographic en Español, The Wall Street Journal, Maclean’s, The Washington Post, Le Temps, Esquire – Russia, Calgary Herald and Mexico Desconocido.
